Let Me Know How to Use Copilot!
Our top tips are:
  • Make It Practical and Relevant: Help people understand Copilot’s features and use cases so they can understand, “How will I use this in my job tomorrow?” Focus on real tasks, scenarios, and examples that employees will encounter. 
  • Let people try it in a safe setting where they can make mistakes and learn. Practical training builds genuine competence and confidence.
  • Interactive and Engaging Delivery: Make training a conversation. Encourage questions throughout.
  • “Social” learning is powerful, it builds a community vibe around learning the new way.
  • Provide Ongoing Support: Training isn’t over when the session ends. People will have questions as they start applying new skills in real situations. By treating training as an ongoing journey rather than a one-off event, you help people continuously improve and gain new ways of working and processes.
  • Make training a conversation, not a tick-box. The real measure of training success is confidence. If people finish training feeling empowered (“I can do this!”) and supported, they’re far more likely to adopt the change enthusiastically and competently.

    Finally, always tell people WHY Copilot is being rolled out, what is in it for them, their team and the organisation.
