How to reduce your background noise in a Team's meeting?
New in Microsoft Teams: Voice Isolation for Crystal‑Clear Audio
If you’ve ever joined a Teams meeting from a busy office, shared workspace, or a home full of background noise, this update is for you. Voice isolation uses AI to recognise your voice and filter out everything else. This means clearer conversations and fewer distractions for everyone on the call and makes it easier for Copilot to identify your voice in meetings.
With a quick 30‑second voice profile setup, Teams learns what to keep and what to block. It reduces background chatter, keyboard noise, echoes, etc.
How to turn it on
-Open Teams → Settings → Recognition
-Select Create voice profile
-Choose your mic, start voice capture, read the text, then stop
All done!
