Aren’t sure which data poses a risk or where to focus the clean-up efforts?

M365 Copilot can access all kinds of data across your Microsoft 365 environment, so if things are messy or misconfigured those risks can quickly grow. Many Digital and IT Leaders aren’t sure which data poses a risk or where to focus their efforts.
A common challenge, right?
Talk to us about a Workspace Risk Rating which helps spot what’s risky, understand how serious it is, and figure out what needs to be done whilst also answering important questions like:
-Which Teams are overshared?
-Where is guest access misconfigured?
-Which sites have no owners or broken inheritance?
What Is The Workspace Risk Rating?
At its core, Workspace Risk Rating is an intelligent, tenant-wide scoring engine that evaluates over 20 risk signals across every Microsoft 365 workspace including Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Non-Group Connected Team Sites and Groups.
Each workspace is given a normalized score from 0–100, dynamically calculated based on weighted indicators such as: Workspace Privacy, Inactive, Inactive or Abandoned Workspace status, Recent Anonymous sharing, Guest access mismatches between the Group and SharePoint site, Lack of Container Sensitivity Labels, Too many (or no) owners or members, Absence of archival or review policies and much more.
These raw scores are automatically tiered into five intuitive risk levels: Critical, High, Elevated, Moderate, Low.
The result? A comprehensive heatmap of your M365 environment’s actual workspace-level exposure not just what policies you’ve configured, but what’s actually happening inside your tenant.
