What is Copilot in Teams?
Copilot is an AI assistant integrated into Microsoft Teams that helps you manage your meetings more efficiently. It can generate summaries, highlight key points, and even suggest action items based on the conversation. This means you can focus more on the discussion and less on taking notes.
Step-by-Step Guide to Using Copilot in Teams Meetings
Set Up Your Meeting in Teams
Open Microsoft Teams and go to the Calendar tab.
Click on “New Meeting” to schedule a meeting.
Fill in the meeting details such as title, date, time, and participants.
Click “Save” to schedule the meeting.
Enable Copilot for Your Meeting
Once your meeting is scheduled, open the meeting details.
Look for the “Meeting Options” link and click on it.
In the Meeting Options, find the “Enable Copilot” toggle and switch it on.
Save your changes.
Start Your Meeting
At the scheduled time, start your meeting by clicking “Join.”
Ensure all participants are aware that Copilot is enabled and will be generating summaries.
