How to easily switch between Copilot Accounts

If you use more than one Microsoft 365 account, switching between Copilot accounts is now much easier. Whether you're a trainer, consultant, or testing different environments, you no longer need to sign out and back in every time.

How to switch accounts

• Open Microsoft 365 Copilot.

• Select your account profile in the bottom-left corner.

• Click Switch account.

• Choose the account you want to use.

• Copilot will reload using the selected account's permissions and organisational data.

For training, this feature is a game changer. I can quickly switch between Tom's and Sophie's accounts to demonstrate how Copilot experiences can differ between users. It's particularly useful when showing the difference between Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat and Microsoft 365 Copilot, as well as highlighting how access to organisational data, files, emails, and meetings can influence the responses users receive.
