How do I roll out Copilot?

Start with “Why”: Every successful change begins with a compelling reason. A Copilot rollout is no different. When people know and understand the purpose of the change, they are more motivated to experiment with new tools and ways of working.

Answer the WIIFM (“What’s In It For Me?”). It’s not enough to explain why the organisation needs the Copilot; people need to know why they should care. Tailor your messages to highlight how the Copilot can positively impact people’s daily work, customers, or future opportunities. For example, inspire people to understand how Copilot can save them time, reduce frustrations, support better ways if working.

Use Stories and Vision: Facts tell, but stories sell. Craft a simple narrative or vision that illustrates the purpose of the change.

Keep Messaging Simple and Genuine: Avoid jargon and corporate-speak; use plain language that everyone can understand. Be honest. Copilot is improving each day!

Reiterate Constantly: Don’t just announce the “why” once. Weave the purpose into all communications and updates. Consistent messaging supports the benefits being realised and keeps everyone aligned on the why.

Tip: Make the “why” meaningful to each person. People should see how the change aligns with their success, not just the company’s.
